Dr. Brett Roufs and Dr. Cindi Sherwood meet with KDA Staff

prior to testifying on SB 132 on Wednesday afternoon.

This week has been all about the legislature and the many bills the KDA is tracking.  Yesterday, we had two dentists, Dr. Cindi Sherwood (KDA Secretary) and Dr. Brett Roufs (KDA Past-President) in town to testify on SB 132, the KDA's comprehensive oral health bill.

Today, we will be at the hearing of HB 2280, the Registered Dental Practitioner bill which will be held in the House Health and Human Services Committee.  The KDA opposes this bill.  We have several dentists here again today who will be testifying this afternoon.

We'll provide an update once these bills have had their hearings and where they stand after tomorrow's legislative deadline.
